Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current Illinois SLP-CCC license and valid PEL (Professional Educator License)
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • Experience working with school-aged children, ideally in grades 2 and 3
  • Familiarity with AAC devices and their integration into student support plans
  • Strong collaborative skills to work with teachers, staff, and families
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language services to a caseload of 40 second and third grade students
  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Support students’ use of AAC devices and assistive technologies
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring
  • Offer guidance and consultation to teachers and families
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
