Your qualifications:
- Current New York SLP license
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Pediatric or school SLP experience preferred, but motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply
Core responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to elementary-aged students according to IEP requirements
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to best support students’ communication and academic needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute as a valued team member
- Adapt your techniques to meet a variety of communication challenges in a school setting
