School Speech Language Pathologist/Assistant
A full-time contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathology/Assistant within a school setting located in RI. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the speech-language pathologist in delivering therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Support the development and implementation of individualized therapy plans.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student communication goals.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall support of student success.
Qualifications:
- Experience or certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant, specifically in a school setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students, families, and educational staff.
- Ability to follow clinical protocols and work under the supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist.
- Organizational skills to manage caseload and documentation efficiently.
