Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP license in Rhode Island
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working with school-aged populations preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a dynamic caseload, serving students of varying abilities and backgrounds
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy to K-12 students, tailored to their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations
- Document interventions, progress, and outcomes according to school and legal requirements
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise to guide students' educational plans
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations relating to student services
