Qualifications & Relevant Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility for licensure)
- CCC-SLP credential or Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) applicants welcome
- Previous experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations is highly preferred
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication abilities
- Proficiency in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Solid organizational skills and adaptability to dynamic educational settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop individualized treatment plans focused on measurable goals and progress tracking
- Deliver therapy services—both individual and group—in accordance with IEP guidelines
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate records, write progress reports, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide consultation and strategies to staff and families for supporting students’ communication needs in the classroom
- Stay current with best practices and continuing education relevant to educational settings
