This position runs from ASAP through May 21, 2027, supporting an increased headcount in local schools. You’ll have a meaningful impact on students’ communication skills while collaborating with fellow professionals to create inclusive learning communities.

Your role will include working across multiple locations within the district, managing a caseload of approximately 60 students. Interviews for this position will be conducted with the Coordinator of Evaluations, providing insight into district needs and expectations. As part of your day-to-day, you’ll assess, diagnose, and implement individualized interventions for students, documenting progress and working closely with teachers and families alike.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid SLP license in Texas
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload and travel to multiple school sites as needed
  • Strong communication, time management, and collaborative skills

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and deliver targeted interventions for students
  • Maintain thorough records in line with school and district policies
  • Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Engage with parents, teachers, and administrators to foster student progress
