Speech Therapist in Towson, MD

The assignment runs from September 2, 2026, through June 17, 2027, with a full-time 37.5-hour-per-week schedule across one or more school locations.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Maryland Professional Licensure required
- Completion of House Bill 486 district background check, fingerprinting, and employment history review
- CCC-SLP credentials
- Ability to present required licensure documentation at onboarding
- School-based SLP experience preferred, but not required
- Flexibility and professionalism in adapting to varying caseloads and assignments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy services to an assigned caseload of students (specific age group and number of schools will be confirmed)
- Administer assessments, develop targeted Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and implement therapy plans in collaboration with educational teams
- Track student progress, adjust interventions as needed, and maintain thorough records to support student success
- Foster a supportive, inclusive environment that empowers students to achieve communication and academic milestones
- Participate in relevant meetings, coordinate with teachers and families, and contribute to school-wide goals
