School Speech and Language Pathologist | Orland Park, Illinois

Desired Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current or eligible Illinois state licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities
- Previous experience in school settings preferred but not required
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language screenings, evaluations, and assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ needs
- Deliver direct therapy services, both individual and group, focused on improving communication and language skills
- Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and provide regular updates to teachers and parents
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create supportive educational environments
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to team discussions, and assist in goal setting
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices
