Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Active Maryland Professional Licensure (images required for credentialing)
- Satisfactory completion of district background check, fingerprinting, and employment history review (per House Bill 486)
- Previous pediatric/school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language interventions to students across assigned schools (specific caseload/age groups TBD)
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and maintain student progress documentation
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to promote student success
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities
- Adhere to state and district policies and compliance standards
