School Speech Language Pathologist - Towson, Maryland

Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services in adherence with IEPs, adapting approaches to diverse student needs
- Conduct assessments, create individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Document progress and maintain detailed records for compliance and communication with parents and staff
- Facilitate student participation in classroom and school activities through targeted interventions
- Support teachers and families with strategies for enhancing student success
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Holds current CCC-SLP credentials (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
- Possesses an active Maryland Professional License; prepared to present license documentation
- Prior experience working in schools or with children/adolescents preferred
- Ability to navigate and implement House Bill 486 requirements—including a district background check, fingerprinting, and employment history review
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

- Contract runs from September 2, 2026, through June 17, 2027
- Full-time hours: 37.5 per week
- School and caseload details to be determined based on district needs
- On-site presence required
