Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Palo Alto, CA
Step into a dynamic opportunity supporting high school students and making a meaningful impact in their educational journey! This full-time contract role offers 37.5 hours per week throughout the entire 22/23 school year. You’ll work closely with students near Palo Alto, CA, partnering with a committed school team and other allied health professionals.
We are seeking skilled professionals with backgrounds in school-based speech-language pathology and occupational therapy. Experience with pediatrics, teletherapy, and a collaborative approach is highly valued. This onsite position features a high school caseload with a supportive and engaged student population.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Valid California licensure (or eligibility) as SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA
- Experience in school-based settings, particularly high school populations
- Comfortable providing services in-person
- Knowledge of teletherapy platforms is a plus
- Background in healthcare or pediatric SLP/OT encouraged
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Compassionate, student-focused mindset
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Conduct assessments and monitor student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation according to district policies
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
