Pediatric Speech Therapist in Santa Clara, CA
Make an impact supporting students through specialized speech and language services in a dynamic high school environment. This full-time contract opportunity allows you to partner with a dedicated team of education professionals, delivering focused care and interventions throughout the full 22/23 academic year.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Valid license or certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC or CFY welcome)
- Experience with pediatrics, school-based or healthcare speech therapy, and working with adolescent populations
- Proficiency in teletherapy a plus
- Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) experience in healthcare settings is helpful
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to high school students onsite
- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators, families, and school personnel to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with school and district guidelines
- Support students’ participation and progress within the academic environment
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and IEP development
