Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state licensure as an SLP
- Prior experience in a school-based setting is preferred
- Ability to effectively manage a varied K-12 caseload
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Comfortable delivering both individual and group therapy
- Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation requirements
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, assessments, and diagnostics for students with speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, collaborating with other educators and families
- Deliver therapy sessions tailored to diverse student populations
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation of student progress and services provided
- Provide consultation and support to classroom teachers regarding communication strategies
- Stay current with best practices in the field of speech-language pathology
