Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as an SLP for schools
- Experience working with K-12 students in educational or clinical settings
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
- Familiarity with IEP processes and progress monitoring
- Flexibility to adapt therapy plans for varying age groups and needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide direct speech and language therapy to students in line with IEP goals
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to support students’ communication and learning needs
- Participate in IEP meetings, maintaining clear documentation and progress notes
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student achievement
- Provide resources and strategies for classroom integration to support generalization of speech and language skills
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture
