Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology
- Prior school-based SLP experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs) and experience providing therapy in school settings
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Collaborative approach when working with multidisciplinary teams
Role Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess students to determine speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address students’ goals
- Provide direct therapy services to students (individually and in groups)
- Maintain timely and accurate records, IEP documentation, and progress reports
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and collaborate with staff and families
- Consult with teachers and support staff to develop classroom strategies
- Foster an inclusive and supportive environment that encourages student growth
