School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Palm City, Florida
Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting students’ communication needs in vibrant communities along the Southeast Florida Coast. Openings are available for experienced, licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC) to provide essential services at K-12 schools during the 2026–2027 academic year. These full-year and maternity leave assignments ensure a dynamic and supportive work environment, with either individual or teamed settings, depending on school location.
Expect to work a 35-hour, onsite workweek, typically at one or two school sites. Caseloads range from Pre-K through high school, including support in ASD, EBD, and InD units. Collaborate with other SLPs, SLPAs, and supportive school teams, or take ownership of a site independently—any preference or strengths can be matched with specific assignments across different campuses and age groups.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current and valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) license for Florida
- School-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with supporting diverse caseloads (K-12, ASD, EBD, InD, resource therapy)
- Adaptable, collaborative, and comfortable in both individual and team-oriented roles
- Successful completion of required fingerprinting/credentialing
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform evaluations, develop IEPs, and deliver individual/group therapy
- Partner with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student success
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation
- Serve as a resource and advocate for speech and language development in the school community
