School Speech Language Pathologist - Osseo, Minnesota
An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to make a positive impact within an Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) setting. This contract role is designed for those passionate about supporting young learners and shaping their communication and learning skills. The assignment begins as soon as possible and extends through the end of the 2026-2027 school year. This is a 0.8 FTE position, equating to 32 hours across four days each week, offering a balance of meaningful clinical work and schedule flexibility.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current and active Minnesota Speech-Language Pathologist license is required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with early childhood populations, is highly valued
- Background in serving students with multiple disabilities is preferred
- Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills
- Professionalism and adaptability in dynamic education environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to young children in ECSE programs
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development
- Monitor, document, and report on student progress in alignment with educational best practices
- Engage with teachers, support staff, and families to support student success
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with school and state guidelines
