Make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE). This contract role offers a consistent four-day workweek (32 hours, 0.8 FTE), empowering you to provide impactful services to children with diverse needs through the end of the 2026-2027 school year.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language interventions to early childhood students, fostering communication growth and readiness for school success.
  • Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and families to support children with multiple disabilities.
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and document ongoing student progress.
  • Serve as a resource to staff and parents, providing expertise on communication strategies and interventions.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active Minnesota Speech-Language Pathologist License and appropriate professional certification (CCC-SLP).
  • Knowledge and application of best practices in SLP services for children ages birth to five.
  • Prefer experience working in a school-based environment, especially supporting children with multiple disabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
