This role offers the opportunity to work 37.5 hours per week, serving a caseload of 30-45 students, split between two engaging middle school settings. You’ll be a vital part of an experienced team, improving educational and communication outcomes for children and adolescents.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Valid Tier 3 or Tier 4 speech-language pathology license paired with a school SLP credential
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) highly preferred, though open to Clinical Fellows with school-provided supervision
- Strong background in school-based SLP practices, including assessment and intervention for diverse student needs
- Excellent organizational skills for managing individualized education plans
- Commitment to collaborative work with teachers, counselors, and families
- Compassion, adaptability, and enthusiasm for helping students achieve communication goals
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive assessments, direct therapy, and progress monitoring to students on caseload
- Develop, implement, and adjust IEPs in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
- Engage with families and school staff to optimize support for students
- Maintain thorough documentation aligned with district and state requirements
