K-5 Grades 9 - 12 School Speech and Language Pathologist | Spokane, Washington
Make a meaningful impact in education as a Speech-Language Pathologist working with students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This full-time, contract opportunity focuses on addressing communication needs across a variety of grade levels within local schools. You'll collaborate alongside dedicated educators and supportive staff to deliver effective interventions that help students thrive academically and socially.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Washington state licensure or eligibility as an SLP
- Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Comfortable providing services to students in grades K-12
- Strong assessment, therapy planning, and documentation skills
- Ability to effectively manage a full caseload and communicate with diverse teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students in grades K-12
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress
- Provide direct therapy sessions, create engaging materials, and document services in compliance with school and district policies
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and other relevant school activities
