Key Qualifications:
- Current NC SLP license (or eligibility)
- Completion of DHHS Pre-K background check
- ASHA CCC required
- Experience with school-aged caseloads preferred
- Ability to supervise an SLPA is an asset
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech therapy at three school sites, plus Head Start and a private school student
- Serve a caseload of 40–50 students (mainly K–5; pre-K to 12th possible)
- Enter documentation into ECATS system
- Complete paperwork for IEPs, including present levels, goals, and service times
- For speech-only IEPs, act as case manager: prepare documents, schedule/facilitate meetings
- Collaborate with educational teams and support SLPA as needed
