Step into a dynamic, school-based setting as a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) supporting a diverse student population across three welcoming schools in the Burnsville, NC region. With two contract positions available, you will be instrumental in providing direct speech services for pre-K through 12th grade students—primarily K-5—managing a caseload of approximately 40–50 individuals. This is an opportunity to work closely with supportive teams at multiple sites, including a Head Start program and a private school student receiving specialized services.
Your role will make a meaningful difference by fostering students' communication growth during the 2026-2027 academic year.
What you’ll bring:
- North Carolina SLP licensure
- SLP-CCC credentials required
- Ability to pass a DHHS Pre-K background check
- Previous experience in school settings (preferred, but not required)
- Skilled with a range of ages; flexible and adaptable
- Strong organization, communication, and record-keeping skills
- Comfort with ECATS documentation
- Ability to supervise SLPA support as appropriate
What you’ll do:
- Deliver direct therapy services to students, in both individual and group settings
- Complete required documentation in ECATS, including progress notes and all IEP paperwork
- Serve as a case manager for students receiving speech as their primary IEP service
- Schedule and facilitate IEP meetings
- Collaborate with staff, families, and other service providers
- Travel between the three school sites as needed
