Key Qualifications:
- Current North Carolina SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
- Experience with school-based speech services and IEP responsibilities
- Eligible for DHHS Pre-K background check
- Comfortable collaborating with SLPAs and supporting a caseload of approximately 40-50 students
- Strong organizational and communication skills, particularly with IEP documentation and meetings
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy to students across three school sites, Head Start program, and a private school student
- Document progress and services in ECATS and maintain all related compliance paperwork
- Complete IEP-related duties, including present levels, goal setting, and service time documentation for related service students
- Serve as case manager for students where Speech Impaired is the sole category, coordinating and facilitating IEP meetings and managing all associated documentation
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support teams to ensure student progress
