Join a dynamic educational environment servicing a diverse student population throughout the greater Chicago area and up to North Chicago. This full-time, in-person opportunity is perfect for a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), with preference for Spanish proficiency, though it is not required. The assignment runs from July 20, 2026 through June 11, 2027, working across PreK–8 settings within the school network.
Key Qualifications:
- Current SLP-CCC certification, with school-based experience preferred
- Bilingual skills in Spanish are advantageous
- Previous experience in a school setting, ideally covering PreK–8 student needs
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Flexibility in adapting to various school sites and student needs
Essential Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver therapeutic interventions for students across PreK–8 grades
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student success
- Monitor progress, maintain detailed records, and participate in team meetings
- Rotate across multiple locations within the network, primarily L6 (Great Lakes) and L10 (North Chicago), with occasional coverage at L9 if needed
