Qualifications and Experience:
- Holds SLP-CCC credentials or is qualified as an SLP-CFY
- School-based SLP experience preferred, especially with elementary-aged children
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- New York State licensure (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students in grades K-4
- Conduct evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and document student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to maximize student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and consult with the school team regarding communication needs
- Implement evidence-based interventions and adapt strategies to meet diverse student profiles
- Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with district and state requirements
