Seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) for an engaging contract assignment supporting an elementary caseload from September 4th through June 25th. This full-time role offers a consistent Monday-Friday schedule, working 8:15AM-3:15PM, totaling 35 hours per week. You’ll make a meaningful impact at a dedicated school site, providing support throughout the academic year.
Key Qualifications:
- Active NJ SLP licensure required
- Experience working in K-12 or elementary school settings essential
- Confident managing a diverse elementary caseload
- Proficiency in conducting speech/language assessments, evaluations, and delivering comprehensive therapy services
- Must be comfortable collaborating with school administration and district staff
- Reliable transportation necessary; applicants should live reasonably close for daily commute
- SLP Clinical Fellows (CF) and SLP Assistants (SLPA) not eligible due to supervision requirements
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to elementary students in need
- Complete thorough assessments, evaluations, and documentation in compliance with school and district policies
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP)
- Communicate effectively with parents and school teams regarding student progress
- Maintain timely and accurate records of services and reports
Compliance & Onboarding:
- TB test, physical, and fingerprinting required for both agency and district
