School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Newark, New Jersey

Your expertise will be focused on an elementary caseload requiring broad support, from conducting individual assessments and evaluations to delivering targeted therapy. What You’ll Bring:
- Current New Jersey SLP licensure (CCC required)
- Previous experience in a school-based SLP role
- Confidence in servicing a full school caseload and navigating district protocols
- Ability to conduct robust assessments, evaluations, and develop effective treatment plans
- Reliable transportation and capacity for commuting as needed
- Willingness to complete onboarding requirements (TB test, physical exam, fingerprints for both agency and district)
- The ability to properly disclose any pertinent information upfront
Please note: CF and SLPA candidates are not eligible for this position due to supervision requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language services to elementary students in accordance with IEPs
- Lead screenings, assessments, and progress evaluations
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student communication needs
- Maintain accurate case notes, reports, and required documentation
