School Speech Language Pathologist - Rochester, WA

Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain prior to starting)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in school settings is highly valued
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues, students, and families
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage a flexible caseload
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students according to individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document student progress towards communication goals
- Work closely with teachers, school teams, and families to support student success in the classroom
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional input and advocacy for students’ needs
- Maintain accurate and timely records to comply with school and state requirements
