Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Old Town, FL

Step into a meaningful role as an on-site Speech-Language Pathologist serving students during the 2026-2027 school year. This contract position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse pediatric caseload in a supportive school setting close to Old Town, FL. With a flexible schedule of 2 to 2.5 days per week, you’ll contribute your expertise to help students achieve their communication and academic goals.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state license or eligibility to obtain one
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Previous experience in schools, pediatrics, or healthcare settings preferred
- Strong collaboration skills and a passion for working with school-aged children
- Ability to conduct assessments, create individualized treatment plans, and document progress effectively
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and direct therapy for students with a variety of communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain detailed records and progress reports in line with school and state guidelines
- Consult and communicate regularly with teachers, administrators, and parents regarding student needs and strategies
- Participate in team meetings, professional development opportunities, and required training sessions
