Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
- Previous experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary-aged children
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and individualized treatment planning skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other support staff
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Flexibility, organizational skills, and a positive attitude necessary for meeting diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to elementary students in an onsite, school setting
- Administer assessments, track progress, and develop tailored treatment plans
- Support students with a variety of communication challenges, including articulation, language, fluency, and social pragmatics
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to maximize student progress
- Contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and related documentation
- Maintain thorough and compliant records of all evaluations, sessions, and student outcomes
