Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP; CCC-SLP preferred
- Strong knowledge of assessment, therapy, and individualized education program (IEP) planning in school settings
- Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, educators, families, and administrators
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- SLPAs may be considered if appropriate supervision can be provided
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy for students in ESY and during the regular school year, supporting a diverse caseload
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to identify students’ needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students’ IEPs
- Document progress, maintain records, and communicate regularly with parents and educational staff
- Provide consultation and guidance to teachers and support staff, fostering inclusive classroom environments
- If supervising an SLPA, provide mentorship and oversight in accordance with licensure standards
