Your expertise will be pivotal in helping students achieve their communication goals, working alongside a collaborative educational team near the energetic Berkeley, CA area.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
  • Valid SLP-CCC credentials (or eligible)
  • Open to SLPAs with appropriate supervision
  • Knowledge of current best practices and evidence-based therapy approaches
  • Ability to connect with students and staff from diverse backgrounds
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive environment

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records
  • Provide input for student evaluations and participate in IEP meetings
  • If supervising, guide and mentor SLPAs in daily responsibilities
