As a key member of the support team, you will:
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to K-12 students, in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective IEPs
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ strengths and areas of need
- Monitor progress, maintain accurate documentation, and prepare reports
- Use creativity to support students’ individual learning styles, maximizing their potential
- Participate in school meetings, professional development, and parent conferences
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or CFY candidates welcome
- Previous experience in school settings or with school-aged children is a plus
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
