What we’re seeking:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Experience in a school setting strongly preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other support professionals
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience providing therapy to children and adolescents (K-12)
Responsibilities include:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students ranging from kindergarten to grade 12
- Develop and implement effective intervention strategies tailored to individual student needs
- Document progress and maintain thorough records in compliance with school requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise and progress notes
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to ensure a holistic approach to student support
- Provide consultation and training to school staff as needed
- Foster a caring, patient, and supportive environment that encourages student growth
