Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Oak Park, Illinois

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state license (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and/or ability to support Clinical Fellow Year (CFY)
- Relevant experience in elementary, pediatric, or school-based speech therapy
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills
- Comfortable providing direct and consultative services in an educational setting
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with teachers and families
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and progress notes
- Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and participate in IEP meetings
- Support students’ social and academic growth through evidence-based interventions
- Provide education and resources for families and staff to promote generalization of skills
