Step into an exciting opportunity supporting elementary students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist, providing essential services during a leave of absence coverage from January through June. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license in Illinois (or eligibility for licensure)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or be a Clinical Fellow (CFY) ready for school-based experience
- Prior experience in pediatric or school-based settings strongly preferred
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for a wide range of speech and language disorders in elementary-aged children
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for elementary students
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals based on student needs
- Deliver engaging speech-language therapy sessions and track student progress
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with school and district policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise to support students’ overall success
