Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure)
- Experience working in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
- Skilled in teletherapy platforms and interventions
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose students with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Provide direct therapy services individually or in small groups, both in-person and virtually as required
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and meet compliance standards within educational settings
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute to a positive school community
