Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) considered
- Experience working in school settings is a plus
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Comfort using technology for virtual or hybrid therapy, if desired
- Professional, compassionate approach to supporting student needs
Main Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to deliver comprehensive care
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) targeting students’ speech and language goals
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and therapy sessions
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Provide guidance and tools to help students achieve greater academic and social success
- Adapt therapy methods to suit in-person, hybrid, or virtual environments
