Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Norwalk, CT

Step into an exciting position supporting high school students as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a long-term substitute assignment starting at the beginning of the school year and continuing through November. Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility)
- Experience with pediatric or school-based caseloads, including high school-age students
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation standards
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for high school students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP objectives
- Work collaboratively with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student goals
- Maintain clear and timely documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
- Assist with progress reporting and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Provide both individual and small group therapy sessions
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all students
