School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Elkton, Maryland

We are currently seeking three full-time SLPs to join collaborative teams, helping students overcome challenges and reach their fullest potential. As a school-based SLP, you’ll work with a diverse K-12 population, designing and delivering individualized intervention plans.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFY candidates will be considered
- Previous experience or clinical rotation in a school setting is highly valued
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt therapy to meet the needs of students with varying backgrounds and abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings and comprehensive speech/language evaluations for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success
- Maintain thorough records and progress notes in compliance with school and legal requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and professional development as needed
