Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to elementary-aged students.
- Collaborate with school staff and families to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Conduct assessments, track progress, and document therapy sessions in compliance with school guidelines.
- Support students during the Extended School Year period.
- Maintain professional licensure and adhere to relevant industry standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license, with certification such as CCC-SLP preferred.
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary-aged children.
- Eligibility for or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for newer graduates.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage students, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to commit to an assignment from ASAP through June 15, including extended school year services.
- Comfortable with travel assignments and flexible to meet the hours of 7.33 hours per day, 5 days per week.
Location and Work Type: This travel SLP position is based in Norfolk, VA, servicing the local Virginia Beach/Norfolk area schools. The role involves working on-site with students and school personnel at Pembroke Elementary.
