What we’re seeking:
- Active licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Virginia
- Open to candidates with CCC or those pursuing CFY
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience strongly preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educational staff
- Commitment to evidence-based assessments and intervention planning
- Adaptability working with diverse populations in both individual and group settings
Your responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to a dynamic caseload of K-12 students
- Conduct evaluations, develop IEP goals, and monitor student progress
- Consult with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student needs
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and district requirements
- Advocate for students’ success by participating in IEP meetings and providing staff training as needed
- Travel between assigned locations as needed within the areas serviced
