Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Valid state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain)
- Prior experience working in school environments, preferably with elementary-aged children
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Passion for supporting students with diverse backgrounds and needs
Responsibilities:
- Administer speech, language, and hearing screenings and evaluations for students
- Develop and implement evidence-based therapy plans targeting speech, language, and communication goals
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate results with teachers and families
- Participate in IEP meetings; contribute to multidisciplinary teams and collaborate on student plans
- Provide guidance and education to staff and parents on strategies for supporting students’ communication needs in the classroom
- Adapt therapy techniques to individual and group settings
