Qualifications & Desired Experience

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid state SLP license or eligibility to obtain prior to start
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; strong CFs will be considered
  • Previous school-based experience with K-12 students highly valued
  • Proficient in assessing, diagnosing, and implementing individualized treatment plans
  • Skilled in collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct evaluations and design evidence-based therapy plans for students with a variety of communication needs
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services, both pull-out and in-classroom, as required by IEPs
  • Monitor student progress and maintain thorough documentation
  • Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, collaborating with educational staff and families
  • Offer consultative support to teachers and aides to foster inclusive classroom communication strategies
