Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or CFY status considered
- Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred but not required
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet individual student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct assessment and therapy services to K-12 students with varied communication challenges
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Collaborate actively with teachers, school staff, and families to promote student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team conferences
- Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain licensure and stay current in the field
