What you’ll bring:
- Current or eligible South Carolina licensure or certification as an SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA
- Experience working with pediatric or school-age populations, or a strong desire to learn
- Knowledge of evaluation, treatment, and documentation procedures for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Ability to adapt to varying needs in a caseload including language-based learning disabilities, speech sound disorders, and autism
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, families, and team members
- Flexibility to work at two close school locations
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy for K-8 students as assigned
- Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans based on students’ needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and regulatory standards
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and interdisciplinary teams
- Support inclusive environments and collaborate with educators and families to bolster student outcomes
