Bring your passion for supporting students’ communication development to a dynamic contract opportunity working with K-8 learners, primarily elementary age, across two closely located school sites. This full-time, 35-hour-per-week role offers the chance to collaborate with a dedicated educational team to help students build foundational speech and language skills.

Ideal candidates can be experienced SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA professionals—your unique expertise and approaches are welcomed and valued. The caseload will focus on students with language-based needs, speech sound disorders, and autism spectrum diagnoses, providing a varied and rewarding clinical experience in a supportive school environment.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree (SLP) or associate’s/bachelor’s (SLPA) from an accredited program
  • South Carolina licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist or SLPA
  • ASHA CCC credential preferred for SLPs; Clinical Fellows (CFYs) will be considered
  • Prior school-based experience or strong interest in school settings is a plus
  • Ability to work confidently across elementary and middle school ages
  • Comfortable navigating a diverse caseload including language, articulation, and autism
  • Strong organization, communication, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver assessments and individualized therapy for speech and language needs
  • Develop IEP goals and participate in meetings with multidisciplinary teams
  • Monitor, record, and report student progress
  • Provide support across two sites, ensuring consistent services
  • Collaborate closely with teaching staff, families, and special education teams
  • Supervise or receive supervision as appropriate to credential
