Speech Language Pathologist in Hodges, SC

This full-time contract position offers 35 hours per week, working with students in grades K-8 (primarily elementary), across two conveniently located school sites. Both SLPs (CCC or CFY) and SLPAs are encouraged to apply and will have the opportunity to support diverse learners with caseloads that include language-based needs, speech challenges, and autism.
Requirements & Experience
- Active state licensure as an SLP (CCC or CFY) or SLPA
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Knowledge of best practices for supporting students with language, speech, and autism needs
- Ability to organize, document, and manage caseload efficiently
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work with staff, students, and families
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all students
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver speech-language therapy to students across varying ages and needs
- Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in partnership with the educational team
- Provide direct therapy, consultations, and support for students’ communication goals
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to maximize student progress
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and timely documentation
- Travel between two nearby school sites as needed
