This contract role spans from mid to late March through the end of the school year, with a flexible 3-days-per-week schedule.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current or eligible SLP licensure for Michigan
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred but Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply
- Experience or a strong interest in working with pediatric and school-aged populations
- Effective collaboration skills to partner with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive classroom environment
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students as indicated in their IEPs
- Conduct evaluations, reassessments, and progress monitoring
- Create and implement effective intervention plans tailored to individual students’ needs
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to support student success
- Prepare timely and accurate documentation of student progress and attendance
- Communicate with caregivers and families regarding student milestones and needs
- Support school initiatives and participate in team meetings as required
