Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP license in Michigan (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric and school-based settings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) targeting each student’s specific needs
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students, both individually and in groups
- Maintain thorough documentation in line with school and professional guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school personnel and families
- Offer guidance and resources to teachers and parents to support carryover strategies
