ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based contract position in Newark, New Jersey.
This position offers part-time or full-time scheduling options, with the SLP supporting students across three school sites. The caseload consists of approximately 60–65 K–12 students, with grade levels divided among the assigned schools. The district is looking to fill this opening as soon as possible.
This is a great opportunity for an SLP seeking scheduling flexibility while making a meaningful impact on students' communication, academic, and social development.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide speech-language evaluations, assessments, and direct therapy services to K–12 students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
• Provide services in accordance with student IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance records
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Manage services across three assigned school locations
Qualifications
• Active New Jersey Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) license required
• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Previous school-based experience preferred
