Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold a valid New Jersey Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required.
- Previous experience working with pediatric and school-based populations.
- Comfortable managing a caseload spanning K-12th grade, with assignments divided per school.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, working closely with educators, support staff, and families.
- Adaptability to adjust treatment approaches for varying age groups and individual student needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide speech-language therapy services to students with a variety of communication disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and IEPs in compliance with NJ school requirements.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student progress and engagement.
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and communication with parents and staff.
- Serve students onsite across three different schools, supporting their growth in both academic and social settings.
